(ZAP) ZERO AIR POLLUTION ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY VEHICLES
Zap is a manufacturer and distributor of alternative energy vehicles, including electric and ethanol-fueled cars and electric bikes and scooters. The California-based publicly traded company had received a good deal of consumer coverage but was looking to raise its profile within the business and financial community.

Zap, which stands for Zero Air Pollution, wanted to communicate to business audiences its leadership position as an innovator in green transportation. Zap’s goal was to increase awareness of its business strategy and new products among current and prospective investors and joint-venture partners.
Rubenstein Public Relations conducted an aggressive outreach program to major business and financial media, establishing and reinforcing relationships with key automotive, energy and technology reporters. We leveraged material news and milestones from the company to secure ongoing Zap stories in the business, financial and technology press.
RPR secured coverage for Zap in outlets including Reuters, Business Week, The New York Times, CNBC, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, San Jose Mercury News, Red Herring, CNET and Popular Science.
